Although these plans are designed for sites that were built by us, we welcome clients who are looking for a long-term partner with a professional and dedicated web team.

We first do a “Website Health Review” to become familiar with your website, how it was built and identify any potential issues that can arise.

With the evaluation, we will both have a baseline of where your website is now and determine whether you are a good fit for one of our Peace Of Mind (aka care and maintenance) plans.

Most importantly we will make a list of issues to fix and suggestions for improvement needed in order to proceed with the website on a monthly care plan.

If you choose to continue with us as your partner, we will onboard you ASAP.

If not, you will have invested in a thorough report on the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats to your website that you can move forward with.

Essential Care

This plan is intended to cover the basics of website care and security and is designed for small websites with minimal plugins, 1-2 3rd party integrations integrations, and are not updated frequently.

We’ll get you set up for success, secure your site, ensure that backups are in place and monitor your site for performance and security.

Peace of Mind Care

This plan is intended to cover the website care and security for websites with more content, additional plugins and integrations that are updated more frequently.

We’ll secure your site, ensure that backups are in place and monitor your site for performance, uptime, and security.

Premium Care

This plan is intended to cover the website care and security for larger websites with multiple integrations and higher traffic.

We’ll secure your site, ensure that backups are in place and monitor your site for performance, uptime, and malware. We will also provide tools for site speed and image optimization.

You will also have access to our library of theme and plugin licences.

Ultimate Care

This plan is intended for larger revenue-generating websites such as elearning, membership, and e-commerce.

We’ll secure your site, ensure that backups are in place and monitor your site for performance, uptime, and malware. We will also provide tools for site speed and image optimization.

You will also have access to our library of theme and plugin licences.

Our team will be able to dedicate even more time to your site’s specific needs and your requests, while ensuring your site is at its best. 

Website backups, updates and monitoring should be done on all websites to make sure they are not vulnerable to attack.

Often, website owners do not prioritize this kind of work (hey, you have enough to do) and leave themselves at risk.

It’s not just about the protection, however. We include analytics and reporting that provides you with information on how people are interacting with your website.

They will be treated as individual sites and you will pay a Care and Maintenance fee for each.

Most recurring revene sites would fall under our Ultimate Care Plan.

This is one of the reasons we do a “Website Health Check” before working with client’s whose sites were not created by The Digital Chicks.

For any site we build, we offer hosting automatically.

If you sign up for a care plan with us and want to move to one of our hosting packages, we can make that happen!

If you are simply looking for help to move to another host – we can help you out!

Hosting your email with a web agency is not the best solution.

We recommend hosting your email with a cloud solution such as Google Workspace or Microsoft Office 365.

We are Google users and are happy to assist you if you’d like to use them as well.

Don’t forget, your email should always be from the same URL as your website, and that means no free Hotmail or Gmail accounts!

We pride ourselves on the standard of care we provide. However we can’t guarantee that your site will not be a target or hosting may go down. These are out of our complete control.

What we can guarantee is that we will do everything within our power to prevent it, as well as assist in the restoration and cleanup of your website site should something occur.

Malware removal is included only on the Ultimate care plan. 

We can, however, help you with malware or a hack for a very reasonable price.

If you have an enhancement or task that requires more than your dedicated monthly time, we will submit a quote for you to approve separately from your plan.

We will evaluate requests that exceed your time on a case by case basis, and with approval, work past the time and bill for time exceeded at our current support rate.

Yup.

We don’t lock you in to a plan. You are free to leave anytime.

Simply provide us with at least 14 days notice so that we may go through the off-boarding process.
